Our First Nations Living Library, S’ólh Téméxw (Sacred Ground) was funded in part through a grant from ArtStarts. On Oct. 7 the project was highlighted at the ArtStarts Gallery downtown in a new exhibit called “Beyond Words: Stories of Our Time”. Artist, Carmen McKay and teacher, Lorraine Goulet talked about the process and the benefits of this space. This space is used for individual, small group, class and multi-class instruction and calming time. We are so proud of the efforts of our staff and community in visioning and creating our Living Library.
